Elizabeth was born in the upstate of South Carolina on August 2. She is a graduate of the College of Charleston (B.A., 2001) and the Charleston School of Law (J.D., 2008), where she was a member of the Federal Courts Law Review and Charleston School of Law Honor Court. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2008, and the United States District Court, District of South Carolina in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, she was an attorney with the South Carolina Department of Revenue's Honors Litigation Program, where she represented the State of South Carolina in various alcohol licensing and tax matters. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., U.S. District Judge, District of South Carolina. During law school, she served as an extern to the Honorable Paul E. Short, Jr., South Carolina Court of Appeals. Prior to law school, she gained valuable corporate experience in Bank of America's Global, Corporate, and Investment Bank in Charlotte, NC. Her areas of practice will include Commercial Litigation, Professional Malpractice Defense, and Alcohol Beverage Licensing and Alcohol Violation Defense.
